Biography

Syncom Data are a Dutch electronic music band, originating from the Westcoast electrotechno scene in The Hague. Main members are Raoul de Vries and Jan Katsma. Their debut was on Bunker Records in 1999 with 50 Pop or An Envelope. In 2004 they started their own label SD Records (also known as Syncom Data Records) with the release of Den Haag. With SD Records they have released a strong output by artists like Tolouse Low Trax, Unit Moebius Anonymous, Mark du Mosch, Ovatow, Shitcluster, Roswell Return, Duracel, Mystica Tribe and more. In 2019 they started two new labels: Tour Messier and Den Haag. Tour Messier being an exploration into non-dancefloor territory, with Humans by Philipp Otterbach and The Adventures of Simon de Aap by Davide Bellotta. The label Den Haag dives deeper into electro territory with The Westcoast Cruisers Down With Us single. As a DJ duo Syncom Data play a wide variety of musical styles: from slow italoburners, jacking Chicago, booming electro to full speed techno, deep housey vibes and screaming disco, best served all night long.
