Biography
Originally an acoustic punk duo frequently found busking the streets of Buffalo, in 2017 the group celebrated the release of Rhythm & Roll- an 8 track double EP composed of 3 songs previously released as a self titled EP, and 4 new tracks written and recorded with added member Jeremiah Franco on Banjo and guest violinist Sally Schaefer on violin for “Low Bridge” - an homage to growing up in the rural areas of WNY. In 2019, the group added guitar/bass player Brandon Mueckl to the lineup opening doors to a more creative sound by shifting guitar playing and songwriting between Victor and Brandon. In order to record a full debut LP, the band began taking on as many shows as they could which began raising issues with promoters “proximity clauses” and birthed the “Bible Belt Battalion” - an all electric version of the band. The band then decided to explore this electrified sound in their upcoming release “Howdy Hallelujah, Here’s the Thing” by splitting the record nearly in half between the acoustic & electric lineup. “Howdy..." was recorded at Mammoth Recording Studios in Buffalo and now serves a timestamp from the last two years as a 4-piece outfit and also marks a significant end to an era as Victor has since moved from Buffalo New York to Denver Colorado. Victor plans to continue his journey as a solo singer/songwriter while the RBB name and members will carry on in the form of future remote recordings and scattered live shows between the two states.
