Biography
Ella Palmer are born in 2005 in the explosion of heavy rock in Setúbal brought by bands such as More Than a Thousand, Hills Have Eyes or One Hundred Steps. In 2005 is released the EP “Monogamy Is Impossible But Everything Else Is Worse”, a emo/rock work that bring up fans from north to south of the country. It follows a period of transformations in the band's lineup and we arrive in 2008 with new blood and a will to change path. The band records “The Longest Journey” in 2008 on the Black Sheep Studios and release the album in 2009. With this record comes new shows, a lot of airplay with the single "Ella" and appearences on national television and interviews in radio stations. The promotion of the album is finished in 2011 and on that same year the band releases 2 singles with video "Uma só vez" (produced by Vasco Ramos from More than a Thousand and recorded @poisonapple studios) and "Closure" (produced and recorded by Ella Palmer). On the summer of 2012 starts writting the new record and when the songs are all written the band decides to record its own record wich takes 1 year. Our new record "Heal wounds, Find gold" was recorded in 2013, with the precious help of Miguel Marques @generator studios and Francisco Caetano/Renato Sousa @the shape of tone to come studios. Its out on itunes; Spotify, amazon. Check it!
