Biography

In 2019 she received the “Great merit award”, which quotes the following: “For her outstanding career as a singer and songwriter, earning a spot as one of the greatest Jazz figures in Mexico and Latin America, promoting universal values through her artistic work, sensibility, interpretative quality and great talent”. 
 Together with Armando Báez, she currently hosts two TV programs on channel 4 and channel 14 of Mexican national television. 
 Dannah performed on the same stage as Kurt Elling, Charlie Hunter and Ravi Coltrane, among other internationally renowned artists, during the Riviera Maya festival. 
 In 2021 she released the singles of her “Winter or Summer series” collection, which she wrote. 
 In 2022 she received the “El Sol de Oro” award granted by the National Circle of Journalists for her “extraordinary talent and for being one of the best voices in the history of music and contemporary jazz in Mexico”.
