Biography
Within three short years, singer/songwriter Daniel Skye has amassed over 60 million total Spotify streams, logged countless miles on the road with the likes of Demi Lovato, & earned the praise of Seventeen & Perez Hilton who asked, “Bieber...Mendes...Skye?” Inspired by everyone from Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, & The Weeknd to Lil Uzi Vert and Migos, the FL-born & Los Angeles-based talent sharpened his vocal chops in the most classic way—by tirelessly singing in the garage. He also taught himself guitar by watching videos online. Eventually, he launched an Instagram page & attracted a following by posting 15-second covers of famous pop songs. He received an invite to perform on the 2014 Sunsation Tour across North America, which would be highlighted in the music video for his first single “Maybe.” Relocating to the west coast, 2015 saw him join forces with social media sensation Cameron Dallas for the viral smash “All I Want,” which reached #12 on the iTunes Top Pop Songs Chart & racked up 25 million-plus Spotify streams & 30 million YouTube views. He landed a major label deal with RCA Records in 2016. Between releasing “Feelin’ You” [feat. R. City], “Stuck On You” [feat. PnB Rock], & more, he supported Bebe Rexha on tour & graced the iHeartRadio festivals alongside the likes of Shawn Mendes, Flo Rida, Dua Lipa, & more. However, Skye reaches a new level altogether on his 2018 release “I Want You”.
