Biography
With unmatched drive & tenacity, 20-year-old LA-based Independent artist Skylar Stecker has put in the work & is fearlessly going after it all. She’s garnered countless plays across digital platforms and has resonated with millions of listeners around the globe, but the full impact of Skylar’s riveting stories is best appreciated live. Armed with a powerful voice made for filling the biggest stadiums in the world and extraordinary performance skills to match, this R&B princess has made a bold mark on the entertainment industry. Through two national tours, performances at over a hundred major sporting events, festivals, and radio shows, this self-taught multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, piano) vocal producer, singer and songwriter delivers emotion-fueled anthems and jaw-dropping shows that have solidified her position as one of the hottest rising sensations today. Skylar released her acclaimed EP Earth Signs in the fall of 2021, the follow up to her 2019 album Redemption. The soulful project highlighted both her personal and artistic evolution, allowing fans an intimate glimpse into her budding romance, while also seeing her claim her rightful spot in the R&B space. In 2022, she continues her journey to stardom with a string of sensual new R&B singles; “hate that for you”, “What’s Good” Ft. Tone Stith, and “Know It’s Wrong” that showcase her unstoppable spirit, fierce determination, and undeniable talent that have set her apart from the start.
