“... a totally raucous and amazing show all around: psychedelic surf, punk, pop, you name it - though above all it felt like something NEW.” - Edmonton Journal Bad Buddy is a four-piece Motown-surf-punk band shaking the foundation of the Edmonton music scene. Lush harmonies, captivating arrangements, and a rollicking live show have led the band to become a force to be reckoned with. Fronted by three powerhouse women, Bad Buddy cuts apart sexism with every guitarmony. If The Go-Go’s, The Pixies, and Martha and the Vandellas threw a party, Bad Buddy would be invited. Bad Buddy recorded their EP, The Sneakie Peekie, in the Spring of 2017, and released it as a cassette/digital download under the umbrella of Double Lunch Productions. The band is currently promoting their first full-length record which will be available July 19th, 2020. Bad Buddy is Emily Bachynski (guitar, vocals), Alex Vissia (bass, vocals), Andi Vissia (guitar, vocals) and Geoffrey Hamdon-O'Brien (drums).
