These creatures became iconic in Ancient Egyptian culture and were sacred due to the Scarab’s association with the ancient god of rebirth 'Khepri' and the sun. During the doctrine of mummification, the ancient Egyptians used to design a spell using the Scarab as a talisman & an amulet as a metaphor that magickally symbolizes the heart of the deceased believing that it will help with the rebirth into an afterlife, just like the sun is always resurrected. In that sense, the Scarab is an emblem that portrays the band’s ability to reinvent themselves, and to constantly come into being. To survive and to constantly rise above the obstacles in their path. Scarab is formed of a combination of different musical tastes and personalities, standing as a united entity.
