On a silent night
It was five in the nocturne hour of nine
It felt that there was no time
As I stayed up watching over you all
It wasn't so long ago
We were safe under humble lights of the halls
And the ones of wisdom so kind
Taught a literary fairytale of the world
We're off! The start of our lives
Couldn't get much further far from the worst
And all the things that we learned
Couldn't save our mortal souls from the curse
Was it really even that cold?
Or were my eyes just closed?
I'm so scared, feeling betrayed
I feel that my life was just a cruel charade!
It's time for one last chance
Before the final dance

And he wants you to make a change
Your yard to roam and road to home
They're overgrown and you're on your own
I asked politely of what I had found

I ask for hours but hear not a sound
