Biography

Journeyman musician Damon Johnson launched his fully focused solo career upon departing Black Star Riders in 2018. Releasing his 'Memoirs Of An Uprising' the following year, he then toured extensively with his longtime friends Jarred Pope on drums and Robbie Harrington on bass. The trio entered the studio in early 2020 with producer Nick Raskulinecz to begin recording a new album under the band moniker The Get Ready, and released the album 'Battle Lessons' in February '21.
