Biography

Formed in 2014, This Be The Verse are an alternative rock band from London. The brainchild of vocalist, guitarist and producer Cyrus King. The band released their debut album in 2016 and have played shows with the likes of Idles, Tigercub, Black Peaks, Employed To Serve and Palm Reader. Their 2020 album Deny All was engineered and mixed by Lewis Johns (Conjurer, Palm Reader, Employed To Serve) and threads a multi-layered, semi-autobiographical narrative across its 9 songs, inspired by socio-political events.
