Post-Metal/Atmospheric/Doom project. Machines is Face Off’s upcoming release set for September 2020 and is the successor to the outfit’s previous album - Massive from 2017. This EP revolves around an auditory concept that combines doomy and ethereal tones, creating dream-like soundscapes that gradually converge into heavy, slow-paced dronesque pulses of down-tuned guitars. Staying on the verge of stillness and chaotic grounds, Machines offers a glimpse into atmospheric and post-metal genres with crooning, soft female vocals on top.
