Biography
Hailing from Austin, TX and currently living along the Front Range in Colorado, Sara is a an indie-folk artist, a producer, and a multi-instrumentalist. Her music is built of earnest and meaningful lyrics, weaving and pleasant melodies, and pure and warm vocals. Sara got her start playing, touring, and singing with Penny and Sparrow. Along with Chris Jacobie, they produced her first EP "Summit Hour" in 2015. Vaulted Sound called the debut EP "beautifully nostalgic (with) wistful lyrics that intertwine with Regans’ warm vocals to give this music its rich sound". After its release, Sara began playing shows, sharing the stage with the likes of Judah and the Lion, Penny and Sparrow, Towr's, Corey Kilgannon, Thomas Csorba, Jordy Searcy, Seryn, Duncan Fellows, and more. Her sophomore album "Stills", produced by Abe Yellen, Sara, and Bradley Vaught, explored new sounds and genres, particularly with her standout single "Waterston". Her first LP captured a time in life defined by aching and change; moving from her hometown of 23 years, marrying her best friend, losing a family member, and graduating from college. Recently, Sara has forged her way as a producer, engineering and producing not only her own music, but also songs for MARGO, Matthew Pinder, McKenna Malloy, Casey Dubie, and Emily Orr. Her first self-produced album, "Riverland" is "set at a pace that calls us to pay attention, to relax, to let the sun in—and sometimes the shadows" (Atwood Magazine).
