Biography
Combining unrelenting groove with a passion for heaviness and harmony, Verticoli has forged a raucous sound that stands alone. The three-piece has gigged heavily across Australia, having supported iconic Australian bands including Cog, Kingswood, DZ Death Rays, The Delta Riggs, and British India. The band relished the opportunity to open to Field Stage at the 2014/2015 Marion Bay Falls Festival, and with triple J’s help were able to add Party in the Paddock to their resume of festival performances. Having released the ‘Punching Bag’ LP in 2015 followed by the ‘Free Will’ EP in 2017, Verticoli are now on the cusp their next release. Their forthcoming EP contains a collection of songs that truly represents the band, their sound, and the combination of groove, heaviness and harmony that they have been striving for.
