LaTocha is an award-winning R&B singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. She is best known as the vocal spotlight of the multi-platinum selling R&B group Xscape who rose to popularity in the 1990s. Xscape exploded onto the music scene and emerged as one of the most prolific female R&B groups of all time. Their music rose the top of the charts, securing 6 top 10 singles, 3 consecutive platinum albums, and selling over ten million albums worldwide. The group's platinum debut album Hummin' Comin' At 'Cha was a critical and commercial success, spawning two platinum number-one hits"Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding". Xscape released their Platinum second album, Off the Hook. The singles “Feels So Good” and “Who Can I Run To” both certified Gold. Xscape’s third album Traces of My Lipstick certified Platinum. The single “The Arms of the One Who Loves You“ certified Gold. As a solo artist, LaTocha appeared on NFL Jamz in 1998 and The Best Man sdk. The Great Xscape tour marked the return of Xscape, selling 500,000 tickets and generating over $40 million. Fans got a behind the scenes look on Bravo’s hit series, “Xscape: Still Kickin’ It.” Xscape received the ASCAP Golden Note Award and is set to receive the Black Music Honors Urban Music Icon Award. LaTocha’s newest single, Six4, produced by Grammy Award winning producer Tricky Stewart and J Pierre Medor infuses with country and pop undertones.
