Biography

Gravitating towards music as a child, DSTRCT’s older sister introduced him to a variety of genres which helped shape his musical taste. By middle school, he recorded his earliest compositions on his Mother’s laptop completely immersing himself in Hip-Hop by high school. Opting to drop out of college after one semester DSTRCT decided to pursue his dream full-time. By chance, he caught the attention of GRAMMY® Award-winning, multiplatinum chart-topping producer, Mustard, after sharing a demo. Impressed, the mega-producer signed him to 10 Summers Records.
