Biography

Formed in 2017 based in Tokyo. Singer and composer, Rei (who used to live in Liverpool.), a drummer, Steven (who is Canadian.), and bass guitar player, Yohey started a rock band called Newspeak. 2017 年東京にて結成。バンドの作詞作曲を担うリバプール帰りのボーカリストRei、正確無比でパワフルなカナダ人ドラマーSteven、グルーヴィーなサウンドを奏でるベーシストYohey。 ワールドスタンダードな楽曲クオリティが国内外の早耳リスナーの間で注目され、結成初年度からSUMMER SONIC など大型フェスティバルへの出演や、The FratellisやMando Diaoなど海外バンドのオープニングアクトに抜擢される。2019年1stアルバム『No Manʼs Empire』、2021年2ndアルバム『Turn』をリリース。2022年10月、ワーナーミュージック・ジャパンよりメジャーデビュー。
