Biography
James Kilbane is now a leading Christian, country and Irish artist in Ireland. James is also known for his varied Christian music styles that cover traditional Praise and Worship, Christian Country, Southern Gospel, and Celtic Christian. James has travelled and performed Christian music events in Ireland and the United States. James has released 13 solo studio albums, 11 Christian and 3 of which were co-released with Veritas Publications, Ireland's leading Christian publishers. James is know for his interfaith music work with many Christian traditions in Ireland for faith, unity and peace. James Kilbane is established in Ireland as a Country and Irish folk artist. Apart from his Christian music work, James Kilbane performs mainstream events across Ireland, as well as events in the United States, including Irish Music Cultural Festivals. In 2004 James Kilbane was the runner up in Ireland's national talent television show You're A Star. He has established his career with his mix of Christian, country and folk. In 2012 and 2019 he was awarded ‘Country Gospel singer of the year’ by Country Sound a leading Irish publications and in 2019 by The Irish Entertainment Awards. James was born in London, England. He now lives on Achill Island, Ireland. He married to Christina in 1989, they have 2 adult children Diana and Daniel. James continues to record religious and country music.
