Biography

The daughter of composer Saint Preux and a painter/author mother, Clemence started her career at 12, when she was discovered by Johnny Hallyday. Enchanted by her voice, he recorded the song « On a tous besoin d'amour » with her. The song garnered great success in France (it attained 4th place on the top 50 in November 2001).In 2005 she was recognized at the fore of the music scene when she released the single « concerto pour deux voix » The song, which compares itself more to a vocal exercise because of the absence of words, is an adaptation of « Concerto pour une Voix » (Concerto for One Voice), composed by Saint Preux in 1969. At the end of 2005, Clemence released a solo single, « Sans défense » (Without Defense), followed by « La vie comme elle vient » (life as it comes) She has starred a film called Perfect Baby, starring Chinese famous actor Deng Chao and British Jane March. She has been living in London and just did her musical come back with a cover of a famous french hit from the 80’s, « Les sunlights des tropiques » which she adapted in a slow and romantic piano version, her video is tropical and sensual and was shot in Madrid. She has been writing and composing her own music, soon to be released ☀️
