Biography
I’ve been there, I’m still here, I’ll carry on... In 2018, I won an award for Canada's top undiscovered songwriter in The Canadian Songwriting Competition. Not a lot has changed since... I'm still mostly undiscovered. It's cool, you're here now and that's all that matters. Bio after bio will tell you about an artist's art and not about them. We all make art with a purpose, to let out something inside us. To purge our history in order to help your present circumstance. I'm 38 years old, I'm a father of 3, I'm not "cool" by any standard. Trying to be COOL only ever brought me a bunch of bad. I spent so many years of my life bound by addiction and the absence of self-worth. An identity tied to substance. If not for Faith and Family, I'd be really undiscovered... I'd be a shadow. I could post pull quotes to make me feel or seem more 'legit', but the truth is this... I am just a person who writes songs and records some of them to share with the world. You'll either like the music or you won't. It'll either mean something to you or it won't, and if it doesn't that's okay. I hope it does resonate because my only goal is that these songs will have meaning to you... whether we share hope, reflection or pain, feeling something together is better than feeling it on your own. I want the songs to remind you that there are pains we experience in this world, victories over those pains and another day to try again just on the horizon.
