Biography
With an inherent passion for infusing 80’s synth pop with bright and breezy guitar driven indie, easy days create an infectious, feel good sound that has already seen the five-piece receive huge support from the likes of BBC Music Introducing and Amazing Radio among others. Amalgamating catchy vocal melodies, vibrant synths and shimmering chorus soaked guitar lines with punching drums and driving bass, the band capture a joyous, summery aesthetic. The band's debut ep, play it again, has racked up over 60,000 streams since its release in 2022. Easy Days have sold out rapturous headline shows across Glasgow at iconic venues such as The Poetry Club, Broadcast, and King Tut's. The latest batch of releases from the 5 piece, such as the middle, by the way and voices, all received airtime on national television via E4's Made in Chelsea, while the latter two tracks featured on Spotify's Hot New Bands and Scotify playlists. Support slots with indie blockbusters such as Cassia, Pond and The Academic at legendary Scottish venues like St Luke's, SWG3 and Barrowlands have firmly propelled easy days into the ones to watch category for 2023 and beyond. "Indie pop of epic proportions." - Jim Gellatly, Amazing Radio and The Scottish Sun. "Totally bringing me back to the 80s." - Shell Zenner, BBC Radio and XS Manchester. "A band I've fallen in love with." - Charlie Ashcroft, Amazing Radio.
