American Bryan Cox started his internationally acclaimed career back when vinyl was king. A long dedication to his craft, bridging different genres, and with many successful aliases, Cox continues forward with his funk based take on tech house and house music. Along his career he’s collected 5 star magazine write ups, numerous #1s on Beatport and other stores in both digital and vinyl format, top DJ and radio support, an international DJ schedule, TV show placement, multiple mix CDs, various musical awards, and most importantly respect from his peers. Bryan’s releases come on some of the world’s most respected labels including Spinnin’, Toolroom, 100% Pure, Defected, Hotfingers, Ministry of Sound, Great Stuff, Subliminal, Tronic, Transmit, Bitten and many more. Bryan Cox also created the PHNTM project which also came to internationl fame. PHNTM has released on some of the industry's top labels including: Blanco y Negro, Toolroom, 1605, Great Stuff, Hotfingers, Definitive, BluFin, and many more. PHNTM has received prestigious recognition from the music community such as Beatport’s Artist to Watch and being nominated for a Beatport Music Award. His popular genre blending style of Commercial Disco and Groovy Tech-Funk also received great success on the Beatport charts, with multiple #1's, reaching as high as #4 overall with his Umek collaboration "Dead Space".
