A rara avis in the world of young electronic music producers and DJs, he has managed to take his sets halfway across the globe without a single track in the market. He grasped early that his path was to keep searching for his personal sound and musical personality, and that his time to shine would come through hard work. Now in his early twenties and with a distinct voice uncanny for a producer his age, his time has come, with his signing for DoctorMusic. dj/Aftercluv(UniversalMusic) with which he has laid down his releases since 2015. Among these releases you’ll find his smash hit “Ready or Not”, the Pop infused “Human Nature” and his latest single “Armor” as well as other dance-floor killers such as “Above The Clouds” and “Kick Fire”. Gelab’s killer sets quickly placed him among the newest and most exciting electronic DJs on the island and internationally, and caught the eye of the best festivals and clubs in the world, such as UMF Miami, UMF Europe, Rage Festival South Africa, Ushuaia, Colosseum, Zouk Singapore, or Space Moscow, in which he opened for Tiesto for the club’s inauguration, among many others. This intense hype sent Gelab off on an international touring frenzy at the end of last year, which graced venues in three continents, and is bound to keep growing after each one of his releases.
