Biography
Not far from his 30 years but already over experienced by acting, sketching and now composing music. His music is organic, heated up by the sensitive strings from his acoustic guitar, so far from all the electro habits. With some sober but sophisticated synths & cords, Tom Leeb is combining a blues-rock music heading for a pop style. This melodious rock is directly inspired by one of his idol, John Mayer, which led him to make his own tracks. Tom is a melody maker, loving the heady chorus more than a hot riff, as he explains, “ I am not a natural rocker, I love the aesthetic and meticulous side of my productions such as the great soundtracks of my favourite movies.” Seduced by the blues and its authentic rhythm and melodies, Tom steers clear from clocks and their mecanics. Influenced by Ben Howard, Bon Iver or Matt Corby, he only follows his heart by digging internaly, usally sitting around bonefires. But also Jazzmen like Frank Sinatra, Gene Harris or Jammie Cullum, when living on the east coast of the USA, in the tracks of his father’s passion. Father swings, son grooves.
