[in English below] Kuopus on henkilökohtaista fantasiaa ja herkkää autofiktiota suoltava rap- ja spoken word -artisti, joka haluaa horjuttaa räpin seksistisiä rakenteita ja yrittää räpätä toisin. Kuopusta inspiroi muun muassa queer, seksi, häpeä, halut ja erilaiset symbioosit. Kuopus on myös näyttelijänä uraa tekevän Pietu Wikströmin artistiprojekti ja henkilökohtainen yritys kirjoittaa itsensä uudelleen, tuplariimi kerrallaan. Musiikin tuotannosta vastaa viulisti-säveltäjä Elias Riipinen (Elia, Lac Belot, The Holy). Kuopus (they / them) is a Finnish rap / spoken word artist writing personal fantasies and sensitive autofictions. Kuopus wants to shake the sexist structures in rap and tries to rap differently. They are inspired by queer, sex, shame, lust and different kind of symbioses. Kuopus is an artist project by a Finnish actor, Pietu Wikström. The project is Wikström’s personal attempt to rewrite their own identity, a rhyme by rhyme. The music is produced by a Helsinki based violinist and a composer Elias Riipinen (Elia, Lac Belot, The Holy).
