Biography
Stellar Award-nominated Southern gospel artist Eddie Ruth Bradford has been performing in the church since childhood. As a youngster, she sang with the gospel vocal group the Bradford Family, but music eventually became a secondary concern for Bradford as she studied at Delta State in her native Mississippi, eventually earned a master's degree, and became a nurse practitioner. After singing at her grandmother's funeral, she was motivated by a positive reception to cut a demo. Soul great Frederick Knight signed her to the Malaco-distributed Juana label, where she released Too Close to the Mirror (2003) and Saved by Grace (2006), both of which led to Stellar nominations. Bradford went independent after those albums with Reflections (2009), Jesus Is Coming Back (2010), and Blessed to Be a Blessing (2013). She went on to release a handful of singles, such as "Gonna Tell the World About You" (2014) and "Sweet Beulah Land" (2017). ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
