Elliott Wheeler is a composer and producer who specializes in film and television soundtracks, alongside his own album releases. He is best known for his work with long-time collaborator Baz Luhrmann, starting with The Great Gatsby, then the Netflix series The Get Down and the epic Elvis, with Wheeler serving as both composer and Executive Music Producer. Classically and jazz trained, Wheeler's music moves deftly between the classical world and the many production styles that modern film storytelling demands.
