Saturday City released their first EP in 2012. Then a duo consisting of the brothers Magnus and Stian Gulbrandsen from Moss, Norway. The EP contained five soulfull and mellow Americana tracks. Together with the EP came the single “Catch a Flame” which became a minor radio hit in their home country. Since then Saturday City has evolved to a five-piece with the additions of Jan-Erik Hoel, Kristian Frøland and Kristian Kjærnes. The band released their debut album «Through This Reality» in the fall of 2017. Three singles preceeded; “Land of Hearts”, “Losing My Mind” and “Carry What I Can”. These are classic, timeless tracks which place Saturday City in the same genre as modern alt-country/Americana artists such as Jason Isbell and Sturgill Simpson. Artists that owes just as much to the musical legacy of Tom Petty as they do to Johnny Cash. Now they are back with a new single «Safer In My Mind». Released on their own label «Jelöy Sound»
