Many who had walked with Him would walk with Him no more. They found His words intriguing, but could never call Him "Lord". Then to twelve He dared to ask, "Will you also walk away?" So beautiful the answer, those words of Peter's faith: "Where would we go? Where would we run? What other man could do the things that You have done? Where could we turn to find the truth? What other way could we be saved apart from You? What other hope? What other light? For only You, Lord, speak words of life. To walk away from what we know – Jesus, where would we go?" Oh, Lord, You've searched my darkness, the questions I have asked. You know how hard I've wrestled with the things too hard to grasp. But when the doubts have lingered, when they whisper, "Walk away," Those precious words of Peter are all that I can say, "Where would I go? Where would I run? What other man could do the things that You have done? Where could I turn to find the truth? What other way could I be saved apart from You? What other hope? What other light? For only You, Lord, speak words of life. To walk away from what I know – Jesus, where would I go? "Where would we go? Where would we run? What other man could do the things that You have done? Where could we turn to find the truth? What other way could we be saved apart from You? What other hope? What other light? For only You, Lord, speak words of life.
