Each song I record is a living thing to me. I try to craft each one as its own small world around a central truth existing with its own colors and feelings. Each song is precious, and its world only exists as long as the song lasts. You can’t pause it to make it last longer. But you can play it again after it is done and revisit it endlessly. He recorded a cappella music as a 5-year-old using two cassette recorders. Now, he has performed live over 6,000 times across the United States and internationally. Although he has written, arranged, and recorded hundreds of songs, his favorite genre is a cappella.
