Biography

Mizzle is a singer, songwriter, producer and sound engineer, hailing from Lagos, Nigeria. Born Anifowoshe Temitayo Michael, his cool and calm demeanour inspired his stage name; Mizzle, which means when it rains in light showers, similar to a drizzle, it is calm but it comes from a very strong and timeless force of nature. He relates to that deeply because he is similarly calm but sent from God with a big role to play in the exportation of afrobeats to the world so he aims to represent it through genuine music that can stand the test of time, just like a Mizzle. He has interests in Fashion, Nightlife, Tech and Food. In 2017, Mizzle began his solo career with his debut EP, ”Creed” whilst working as a studio engineer for the legendary producer, Sarz. In 2019, he applied for Empawa 30 where Mr Eazi personally messaged him invite him to the programme. This led to the release of “Hands On You” in 2020. Mizzle gained recognition in 2021 with his viral 'How To’ Tik Tok video series. Here he created songs in the likeness of popular Afrobeats artists which gained the attention of celebrities, fans and blogs worldwide which led to the release of his second project "In The Dark' featuring the likes of Oxlade, Wande Coal, Niniola and Sarz. Now Mizzle gears up to release his 3rd project titled Now You Know scheduled for March 2023.
