Biography
Over the last few years, Fort Worth has become a breeding ground for diverse and interesting new music. The city seems to have everything from country and blues to rock and roll flowing from it like a fountain. From somewhere in the middle of the sounds and the city, Ryan Wilcox and The Sunday Shakes were born. The trio’s sound ranges indefinitely, from simple acoustic ballads to dirty and gritty southern rock assaults. Ryan’s songwriting style is raw and naked, with an honesty that has been lost in a lot of modern music. Ricky Harris (Bass) and Josh Banks (Drums) provide a rhythm section that gives their songs and performances alike an unshakeable foundation that hits you right in the gut. Anticipation continues to build surrounding the release of their fifth studio album “Just To Feel The Fire”, available October 2021.
