Arula is a songwriter, sound-healer, and electronic music producer who views music & movement as sacred expressions of a universal language; a language that unites and empowers people from all backgrounds. She values expression as a path to awakening; a gateway to exploring the different parts of ourselves, the light & the shadow, exploring duality as a path to unity. Her songs are inspired by our collective narrative as well as her own personal journey of connecting deeper to one’s truest self by dropping the false stories that we’ve been told; that by releasing our conditioning we step into a greater place of potential & activation, that this what is needed for healing ourselves, our earth-family, our planet. As a lover of many varieties of music she interplays with a multitude of genres, while difficult to categorize her music is often described as haunting, sultry, and sacred. Her voice a bridge to ethereal realms, unparalleled but reminiscent of Kate Bush, Florence Welch, & Sevdaliza.
