For Canadian Worship Leader & Songwriter Brooke Nicholls, the last seven years have felt like a whirlwind. From touring across Canada playing over 500 dates, to being named Female Vocalist of the Year by the Canadian Gospel Music Association four times AND being nominated for a Juno Award - it’s been an incredible journey. But for an artist who’s already achieved so much, where do you go next? Poised to share new music for the first time in over two years, Brooke feels like she can write her own future. Having proven herself as an artist and risen to the top of her genre, Brooke feels permission to take risks. With her new album, ‘Glory To God’ (rel. 2023), Brooke will showcase the best songwriting she’s ever done. Lyrically, the songs are authoritative in a way that Brooke has never been before. Songs like ‘Glory To God’ and ‘Be Exalted’ feel like the ancient hymns of the Church that transcend generations, while songs like “Enough” and the album's lead single "Not Finished" feature the personal reflection and intimate lyrics that people have come to love from Brooke’s writing.
