Biography

Caitlin Mahoney's voice has been praised as “powerful and soulful - a mix of Adele and Fiona Apple.” Her album, Story Still Left to Be Told highlights collabs with other femme creatives. The Washington Post premiered a music video for "Burn the Book" featuring four women writers. The video accompanied a collaboration with NYC literary community HIP Lit, inspiring women to light a match to societal pressures imposed upon them, and to write and share their stories. Her music has been featured on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, ABC Family's The Fosters and Starbucks stores throughout the United States. Her performance and songs appear in a number of indie short films and the feature film "Women & Sometimes Men" which featured at the Chelsea Film Festival and the Portland Film Festival. Since 2013, she has played 250+ shows across the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy. Caitlin created an original children’s music project with Hannah Winkler called The Buttons, releasing a full-length album of original music for young children and their families called Good Day, Friends and Neighbors! Caitlin is passionate about female empowerment as well as education and regularly supports She's the First, Girls Who Code, and Girls Write Now. After a decade in NYC, Caitlin decided it was time for a shakeup and moved "West for a While" to Los Angeles, where she lives with her dog Annie. She has new music coming in 2023!
