    Sd Laika is the alias of Peter Runge, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin whose productions have been termed "new grime" -- akin to blip-filled Wiley instrumentals remixed to appeal more to fallout shelter settings than to dancefloors. Unknown Vectors was the first Sd Laika release, an alternately (and sometimes simultaneously) bleak and comical EP issued as a digital download on the Visionist's Lost Codes label in 2012. Runge caught the attention of the Tri Angle label, where he issued the clanking and scraping That's Harakiri, his first proper album, in 2014.
