Biography

Paranoid City is a SynthPop band based in Manila, Philippines. Formed in 2009, they are composed of these SYNTHizens: DAX Balmeo on Lead Vocals, Guitars; ROMMEL Celespara on Synthesizers, Electric Piano, and Vocals; JAPO Anareta on Bass and Lead Synthesizers, Vocals; and ERIC Strange on Drums. The band has already performed in several music festivals here in the Philippines as well as in various countries around the region such as Thailand (Culture One Dance Music Festival 2012), Singapore (Rocking The Region 2015 and Southeast Asian Tour 2016), Malaysia (Southeast Asian Tour 2016) and South Korea (Zandari Festa 2016). The band has already released a couple of albums namely "Viewfinder Dreams" (2011), a Southeast Asian tour-exclusive EP called "Transitions" (2016), and a brand new sophomore album "Metropolitan" (2017). Armed with their own energetic brand of SynthPop, Paranoid City promises to be "Your Metropolitan SynthPop Destination".
