Biography

Paravelle is James West, Alex Hone, Joel Mailei and Matthew Wykniet. The four-piece emerged late in 2016 with their debut single ‘Cascades’, engineered and mixed by Lachlan Mitchell (The Jezabels) at Studios 301 and The Parliament Studios. Their single took a passionate following worldwide for its ghostly yet heart-warming melodies. Paravelle write music that blends arresting alternative guitars with rich vocal harmonies and captivating songwriting. Anchorage, the title track behind their debut EP released in spring of 2020 sums up the journey Paravelle have been on since the beginning. It's an exciting one, and one to remain attuned to for years to come.
