Carleton Stone, an award-winning artist, a songwriter with a growing list of credits and a founding member of the popular East Coast trio Port Cities. Carleton has three solo records to his credit, multiple awards, and has toured internationally. An outstanding writer, Carleton has written songs for and with such diverse artists as Kelly Prescott, Donovan Woods, Classified, Ria Mae, Bobby Bazini, Mo Kenney and Neon Dreams. During lockdown, Carleton worked to hone his skills as a producer and in 2021, Carleton produced Willie Stratton’s Drugstore Dreamin’ (2022) along with his own record. . Carleton’s current project, Papercut, is a self-produced collection of sophisticated singer-songwriter pop with well-crafted lyrics and memorable melodies. To be released September 9, 2022. Carleton will also be heading on tour this summer to support Crash Test Dummies throughout the US. “House In The Hills” is the fourth single from Carleton, who dreamily testifies that he’s done with material things. The glamour, the jetsetting, and the parties all get played up over the reality of the whole thing: a career that seeps into your real life and can dismantle your relationships, the exhaustion of the road, and more than a few hangovers.
