Biography

Mobile, Alabama, artist Rich Boy enter the music industry while enrolled as a mechanical engineering major at Tuskegee University. Before then, he made music in his spare time, but eventually dropped out of school and released some independent material that caught fire locally. Producer Polow Da Don was impressed enough to have the MC flown to Atlanta, where the two worked on furthering the progress. Rich Boy landed a contract with Interscope and began working on his his first album. in the meantime, he appeared on one of Ludacris Disturbing tha Peace compilations and dropped in on a handful of mixtape -- including DJ Ideal and Jermaine Dupri Da Bottom, Vol. 5.with DJ Drama, he released 2006 bring it to the block mixtape, followed with His official 2007 self-titled album Rich Boy, 2008 Bigger than the mayor mixtape, 2009 Pacc Man m8xtape ,2009 DJ Scream Presents Kool Aid, Kush, & Convertibles mixtape, 2011 12 Diamonds mixtape, 2011 Gold Kilo$ mixtape, 2013 Break The Pot album, which was promoted by 2013 Back to Class mixtape. As the name suggested, his 2015 album Featuring (Deluxe Version) was loaded with guests, including The Game, Curren$y, Trinidad James, and Yelawolf.
