Biography
Travel any road long enough, and you’re bound to come to a fork. But for Temecula Road’s Dawson Anderson and Emma Salute, that fork has led to an exciting new start. From their first show together in 2013, the Warner Music Nashville/Buena Vista Records group had always been a trio – best friends and creative family who followed their country dreams all the way from Temecula, California, to Nashville, Tennessee, international tour dates and beyond. Now though, they move forward as a duo – more streamlined and more dynamic – and in so many ways, they feel like it was all in preparation for this. Working with ACM/CMA winner Dann Huff and Brandon Hood, the duo is now flying freer than ever. The new chapter began with the “spellbinding charmer” (Taste of Country) “Heartbreak In Boots,” followed up with the Cajun-spiced “By You” and rebellious tune “Wrong Ones Do.” With over 15 million streams to date, their talent has been called out by the media including Huffington Post, CMT, and Rolling Stone. Last year, they joined BRELAND on his Here For It Tour, where they hit cities across the country. A decade into their journey, Temecula Road now has the steps behind them to truly know what they want, and with the youthful drive to see what’s around the next bend, the path ahead looks bright.
