    Friday Forever is the second album from the British producer and XL Recordings founder Richard Russell’s Everything is Recorded (following on from his Mercury Prize shortlisted debut in 2018), and it is a swirling and diverse investigation into the universality of the Friday night experience. For the last ten years, Russell has established himself as an accomplished producer, with work for Gil Scott-Heron, Damon Albarn, Ibeyi and Bobby Womack, having first been a DJ and maker of one-off rave tunes in the early nineties. Now, he has brought together collaborators of all ages and backgrounds to tell a story through music that starts at 9:46PM on a Friday night and finishes at 11:59AM the next morning.
