Biography

Dubbed ‘The Masters of Progressive Trance’ by Armin van Buuren. The Blizzard is a Trance duo from Northern Norway consisting of Lars Nyheim and Tore Vatle Jensen. In 2007, they made their debut on the Progressive Trance charts with their first track, Kalopsia. Since then, they have released over 35 original tracks, 15+ remixes and produce the podcast, Point Zero. As independent music producers, they release on several labels, including Armada Music, Anjunabeats, FSOE and Pure Trance, and have a Patreon page for fans who want to support their music directly. In addition to producing, Lars Nyheim is also the DJ of The Blizzard, and has played at various events and concerts around the world – A State of Trance and Luminosity Beach Festival in the Netherlands, Club Volume in Seoul, and at Seasons of Trance and Trance Night in Norway, to name a few.
