Biography

Quilla (Anna Luisa Daigneault) is a vocalist, songwriter, keyboardist and electronic music producer. Originally from Montreal, Canada, she lives in Greensboro, North Carolina (USA). Known within the electronic music community as a versatile vocalist and lyricist, she has worked with renowned DJ/producers such as Tiësto, Sultan + Shepard, Heatbeat, Feenixpawl and many others. As a frequent collaborator and muse, Quilla has written lyrics for club tracks released by labels such as Universal Music, Revealed Recordings, Armada Music, Vicious Recordings, and Ministry of Sound. As an electronic producer, her solo work is inspired by house music, world beat, downtempo and experimental sounds. She mentors emerging artists in the US and Canada, and teaches workshops about music and vocal production to women. Her first album 'Beautiful Hybrid' (Ritual Fire Records, 2014) was featured by iTunes in their ‘Ahead of the Curve’ playlist, and the album was remixed and released on limited edition vinyl by Visionquest Music. Her second album 'You Got It' (Ritual Fire Records, 2017) included an array of tracks that ranged from cathartic to contemplative. A reviewer from I Want EDM noted, “her ability to transcend genres and tie all the brilliant intricacies of her production together is majestic.” Her upcoming projects include releasing a series of singles with music videos, an album of ambient music as well as a collection of lullabies.
