Biography
Mark Ursa is born in Belgium. He moved to Ibiza in 1996 where he started his DJ career with a weekly residence at the Privilege, the biggest club in the world at the time. His first recorded success was the single "Welcome to planet Ibiza" in 1998. Since 2006, Mark Ursa played in 73 different countries, in all the Superclubs and festivals (Tomorrowland, main stage at Ultra Brasil,...) including few weekly residencies for parties in Ibiza (Space, Blue Marlin, Nikki Beach, Privilege,...). He played 8 years in a row at the Brazilian Carnival in Salvador/Bahia in front of 3 million people. During summer 2019, he becomes the weekly resident DJ of the party « Electrico Romantico » at Heart Ibiza, the club under the guidance of Cirque Du Soleil. Mark remixed few major artists including Shakira, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Robbie Williams, Akon, Bob Sinclar (4 times). He placed 6 tracks on the TOP 10 of Beatport and he reached a lot of Top10 charts around the world. His summer hit « Say », with a sample of Whitney Houston, received great support around the world, and were played in the main stages of festivals like Tomorrowland, Ultra, EDC Las Vegas and Mexico,... During the pandemic, he broke the world record for the longest live DJ set on the internet by playing 51 hours non-stop. In 2022, his remix of ¨Don't you worry¨ by Shakira, David Guetta and the Black Eyed Peas, entered in the charts of 37 countries, and #7 in the US bilboard.
