NEW COUNTRY IS POP – WITHOUT THE PLASTIC. 
 For Ann, “New Country” isn´t just the next big hype but a long-nurtured passion. As a 14-year-old girl, she discovers her love for Country while listening to the American Country Countdown on AFN (American Forces Network). From that moment on, she plays in a variety of bands, writes her own songs, and launches her first solo music project in 2011. Awarded several times (e.g. 'German Rock & Pop Awards', AKADEMIA Awards & German Songwriting awards), she has already attracted attention across the borders of Germany. 
 Passionate live performers, Ann and her band are regulars on the German and European tour circuit. She appeared as opener for TEBEY, Tom Beck, Jupiter Jones, Tom Astor und Michael Schulte and also joined a line-up that features major US country stars such as the Dixie Chicks, The Band Perry & Brad Paisley at the high-profile C2C Country2Country event in the O2 Arena, London. Lately she presented her songs on the TV format ZDF Morgenmagazin and – with her Nashville co-writer-friend Brooks West at the ZDF Fernsehgarten with over 3 million spectators. Ann Doka's new Nashville album shows what NewCountry from Germany can be: Fresh and honest songwriter-pop, that feeds the fans on recordings as well as live. But always with a little dash of Nashville!
