Biography
Violette Wautier first captivated the country with her audition on Season 2 of The Voice Thailand back in 2013. Since then, she has garnered critical acclaim and awards for both her music and acting. The Thai-Belgian sensation started off recording original songs for several films and TV series. She then explored acting, going on to win the Suphannahong Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Heart Attack (2015) and A Gift (2016). In only a few years, Violette rose to fame to become a familiar face in the Thai entertainment industry. In 2018, Violette decided to release her first English-language single, “Drive”. She followed up on the success of the hit with a second track named “Smoke” the same year. “Smoke” went on to break the record for most views for an English song performed by a Thai artist on YouTube. The single also ranked No. 1 in 8 countries, including Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia. Violette Wautier released her brilliant all-English album "Glitter and Smoke" debuted on June, 2020, leading the album with the alternative pop anthem "Brassac". And her latest single "I’d Do It Again" which introduced her to the listeners worldwide. She got nominated on Best Southeast Asia Act in MTV EMA 2020 from this album. In May 2021, Violette Wautier released her comeback with the long-awaited new Thai song titled "กักตัว" (means "Quarantine"), her first Thai single in 3 years. Followed by her current love ballad hit "ตั้งแต่มีเธอฉันมีความสุข (This Time)".
