Biography

FUGŌ is a Malaysian alternative indie pop rock band formed in October 2019. The band consist of Led singer and guitarist Hakim Kamal, lead guitarist Apap and basist Ami. Their music is a mixture of vintage electro vibe with a modern sound, drawing influences from late 70s, 80s pop, funk, modern rock and new wave music. FUGŌ released their debut single titled ‘Waiting’ in February 2020 which has reached almost 3000 views on youtube in the first two months. On March 2020, the band released two demos ‘Moon & Sun’ and ‘Adonim’ which will be a part of their upcoming EP. FUGŌ is established and recorded under Melodiya Recording. The band believes in making good music for the community and with that we believe you do too.
