Biography

Karl Tore Jakob Stenseke is a music producer and philosopher born in Sweden. Between 2009-2012 he played guitar and saxophone in the grammy nominated band Zekes, giving more than 400 shows all over Scandinavia. In 2012 he released his first self-produced indie-pop album as The Key Key. Since then he has released two LPs and an EP with Malmö-based indie band Feelium. His solo-project was resurrected as Karl Jakob with the release of the EPs "Pippi is dead. And we killed her" (2019) and "Floating heads in the sky" (2020). For the last 3 years, a series of releases have culminated in the debut album - "Mayfield Mead✺ws" - an eclectic mix of ballads and beats, electronic and baroque, singer-songwriter heart-ache, and unorthodox experiments.
