Biography
Butterfly Stone is a five-piece band from the West Midlands in the UK. Originally formed by Emmy Award Winning Composer and Producer, Mark Willott. The Band had existed in different forms previously and included writers and performers Phil Gwynne (Lead Vocals), Christian Garrington, (Guitars & Vocals) and Mike Cates (Drums), then later, Tim Birks (guitars) to complete the five piece. The Band is recorded and produced by Mark Willott (Bass & Vocals & Orchestration & Programming), The original idea was to create music without compromise, beyond the standard limitations of what a standard rock band can deliver. A unique combination of Guitars, Funky Horns, Epic Orchestration and dirty underground synths come together to form Butterfly Stones unique sound. The band have composed songs for many international motion pictures and advertising campaigns.
